Christian rehab has proven to be a very successful approach to addiction recovery. The Christian rehab is fundamental at getting to the root causes and underlying issues resulting from or predisposing factors leading to substance abuse.
Addiction is multifaceted and presents a spiritual, mental, emotional and physiological challenge. Christian treatment centers focus on healing the whole person starting from the inside-out, through putting faith in and turning their will ever to  God.
Many addict's hold on to guilt for their past mistakes and self medicate as a way to cope with those painful emotions. Consequently, psychological therapies often fall short of total restoration and ultimately must seek forgiveness from God for true peace and freedom. God's word says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The Bible says and that if we believe that Christ is the Son of God and died on the cross for our sins and that God raised Him from the dead on the third day, and if we ask God for forgiveness in His Son Jesus Christ's name we are forgiven of our sins. Of course the Bible also says that we must repent our sins which mean to turn away from. And God will help us with this if we ask Him.
Students understand that putting their faith and trust in Jesus Christ and adhering to His teachings, the Word of God---self-discipline and obedience will empower them to overcome addiction and other life controlling problem and permit new Christians to lead happy honest lives.
Also students are taught the importance of sound Integrity, honesty, patience, diligence, discipline, appreciation, and how imperative it is to have positive and humble attitudes as Christ does. Hence, they can finally be set free from the devastation left in the wake of drugs and alcohol abuse as well as any other life controlling issues or addictions.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Christian rehab centers provide a program of study specifically that educates their clients about God and helps them achieve the enthusiasm and knowledge required to become successful Christians. Also many Christian rehabs are very comprehensive and offer numerous types of traditional psychotherapies.
Christian rehabilitation differs from other program since Jesus Christ is the Higher Power. Christian treatment is typically a highly structured rehab center that insists on adhering to facility guidelines which teaches new Christians the value of obeying guiding principles. At the Christian rehab center they are able to discover and work on their short-comings by recognizing them and changing them into good productive lifestyles.
Christian drug rehab centers offer long and short term inpatient and outpatient programs. Christian program students attend church services, Bible study groups, Bible classes and Christian counseling, generally done on or near the rehab center.
